Advantages and characteristics of expansion joints

Introduce:    

Expansion coupling sleeves are widely used as the mechanical basis for mechanical coupling under various loads. It has been extended to many machinery industries, and now the general-purpose expansion sleeve implements the JB/T7934-1999 standard. Our company can develop non-standard expansion coupling sleeves according to the needs of special users.

Compared with the general interference keyless connection and the traditional mechanical connection with key connection, it has the following advantages and characteristics:

       1. Simple manufacture and installation. The shaft and hole where the expansion sleeve is installed does not require high-precision manufacturing tolerances like the interference fit, and the installation of the expansion sleeve does not require heating, cooling or the use of pressurized equipment, just tighten the screws according to the specified torque value.

      2. Good interchangeability and easy disassembly. When disassembling, first loosen the compression screw, and then use the ejector screw to eject and unload, then the coupling state can be released, and the expansion sleeve can be separated from the coupling parts.

       3. The expansion sleeve connection can bear heavy load. Its structure can be made into various styles. In order to meet the installation load requirements, one expansion sleeve is not enough, and multiple series can be used in combination.

       4. The expansion sleeve connection is a precise, gapless and keyless connection. Reliably eliminate the disadvantages of stress concentration and roll key caused by key transmission. It has the characteristics of convenient and quick positioning, long service life, and not easy to corrode. There is no relative sliding and no wear and tear during work.

       5. When the expansion and tightening coupling sleeve is installed in the axial direction, it can easily adjust the required axial position size and the relative position of the parts without any axial fixation.

       6. With the expansion of the application range, various complex connection forms in the machine can be replaced by special expansion and tightening coupling sleeves. Simplify the transmission structure or become an integral part of mechanical parts, such as a gapless elastic diaphragm coupling.

       7. The expansion and tightening coupling sleeve can work in the temperature range of -30ºC~200ºC, and can be made of a variety of materials according to the different working environments and media.
