Why does the 304 stainless steel diaphragm appear extrusion deformation?

1. There are some problems with the alignment, and the shaft spacing should also be paid attention to. It must meet the requirements of the diaphragm coupling. Even if the alignment is good, if the spacing is poor, the diaphragm will be pulled and deformed, which will cause the diaphragm to twist and deform. The additional shear force on the bolt, coupled with the transmitted torque on the bolt, will cause the bolt to break.

2. During the installation process of the diaphragm coupling, it is required to be well aligned before it can be used.

3. High attention should be paid to the frequent damage of the diaphragm coupling. First, check the alignment, and then check whether the strength of the coupling flange and the stainless steel diaphragm group meets the requirements. Selection of sufficient margin, safety factor and material requirements.

Fourth, the pre-stretching of the diaphragm should be considered.

5. When replacing the diaphragm coupling, it is best to replace the whole set (diaphragm and bolts). These bolts must be of the same size and specification for easy alignment.
