Precautions when installing JM diaphragm couplings

If the diaphragm coupling is assembled incorrectly, the vibration value of the equipment will exceed the standard, especially the high speed equipment, which seriously threatens the normal operation of the equipment.

Diaphragm coupling installation precautions

1. Please install protective cover and other devices around the coupling to ensure safety.

2. Products with diaphragm have edges, which may cause injury. It is recommended to wear thick gloves when installing.

3. The allowable axial deviation of JMII diaphragm coupling includes radial, angular and axial deviation. During installation, adjust the axis deviation to ensure that it is within the allowable value range in the corresponding product catalog.

4, in order to extend the service life of the coupling, it is recommended to set the shaft deviation to less than 1/3 of the allowable value.

5, when a variety of deviations occur at the same time, the corresponding allowable value should be halved.

6. Tighten the screws after inserting the mounting shaft, otherwise it will cause deformation of the coupling. When tightening screws, use a torque wrench. Do not install screws other than the accessories.

7. If abnormal sound occurs during operation, please stop operation immediately and check the installation accuracy.

8. When the shaft deviation exceeds the allowable value during installation, the coupling may be deformed, resulting in damage or shortened service life.

Check the loosening of screws respectively. It is recommended to apply adhesive to the outer surface of the screw after installation and debugging to improve the protection performance.
