(1) In order to facilitate installation, the two semi-couplings are placed in the 120-150 insulation box or oil tank for preheating, so that the size of the inner hole increases and it is easy to install. After installation, ensure that the shaft head can not protrude the section of the half coupling, and it is better to be flush. Detection of the distance between the two halves of the coupling: along the two sides of the flange of the half coupling measured 3~4 points of reading average, and the length of the length and the sum of the measured size of the two diaphragm group, the error should be controlled within 0~0.4mm. (2) before installation should first check whether the prime mover and the working machine two shafts are concentric, whether there are wrapping paper and collision on the surface of the two shafts, whether there is debris in the inner hole of the two half couplings of plum type coupling, whether there is collision on the edge of the inner hole; If there should be shaft, half coupling clean up, collision with a fine file. Then check whether the diameter and length of the inner hole of the two semi-couplings are consistent with the diameter of the prime mover, the working machine and the shaft extension length. General selection, let the prime mover and working machine end half coupling length is less than its shaft extension length 10-30mm as well.

(3) alignment: use dial gauge to detect the two half coupling flange section and outer circle runout, when the outer circle of the flange is less than 250mm runout value should not be greater than 0.5mm; When the outer circle of the flange is greater than 250mm, the runout value should not be greater than 0.08mm.
