Coupling in installation use and daily maintenance!

Coupling as a precision instrument, so there are many precautions in the installation and maintenance process. Today let's take a look at the coupling in the installation and daily maintenance!


First, the coupling installation steps


1. Install the half piece coupling on the shaft


(1) According to the size of the coupling, measure the actual (composition) elements of the shaft and hole, and draw the loading terminal position line according to the regulations.


(2) Hammer drive method, used for small size and gap matching. First rub lubricating oil on the fit, install the key in the keyway, make the half piece coupling to the loading shaft, and hit it with a hammer (it is appropriate to hit the middle pad) until it is loaded into the terminal position.


(3) press assembly, used for interference, when the interference is large, use the temperature difference method with the press assembly. The temperature difference method assembly is to heat and expand the hole (half piece coupling) and then install it on the shaft. The lubricating oil can be heated in the heating box, or steam heating, electric heating, etc., and the cooling shaft can also be used to reduce the diameter and then assemble the coupling. The coolant used for cold loading is liquid nitrogen (cooling temperature up to -190 ~ 195℃), liquid ammonia (cooling temperature up to -120℃), dry ice plus alcohol and acetone (cooling temperature up to -75℃).


2, coupling to find positive connection


After the coupling is installed on the journal, the two half couplings are initially aligned by adjusting the cushion iron method, so that the center of the two axes is roughly aligned, and the end face of the two half couplings is initially parallel, and then the bolts are put on to prepare for coaxial adjustment.


Note:


(1) When assembling the half coupling and shaft, it should comply with the provisions of the equipment technical documents or the construction acceptance specifications, and maintain a certain end clearance, but the end face of the rigid flange coupling is not allowed to have a gap.


(2) When assembling, the loading depth mark can be made on the journal according to the size of the coupling to avoid excessive loading.


(3) At the beginning of loading, it is necessary to keep the coupling end face perpendicular to the axis of the shaft, and then start hammering or pressing to prevent eccentricity.


(4) When heating with oil, the oil and fire should be absolutely isolated to prevent fire, and the heating place should be free of flammable items.


Second, the safe use of coupling


1, the coupling is not allowed to exceed the specified axis line skew and radial displacement, so as not to affect its transmission performance.


2. The bolt of the coupling shall not be loose or defective; The key of the coupling should be tight and not loose.


3, the gear coupling and cross slider coupling should be regularly lubricated, generally 2 to 3 months with grease once, so as to avoid severe wear of the gear teeth, causing serious consequences.


4, gear coupling tooth width contact length shall not be less than 70%, its axial channeling momentum shall not be greater than 5mm.


5, the coupling is not allowed to have cracks, if there are cracks, it needs to be replaced (can be struck with a small hammer, according to the sound of judgment).


6, gear coupling tooth thickness wear, lifting mechanism wear more than 15% of the original tooth thickness, more than 25% of the operating mechanism should be scrapped, broken teeth should also be scrapped.


7, pin coupling elastic ring, gear coupling seal ring, if there is damage aging, pay attention to timely replacement.


Third, the daily inspection of the coupling


1, check the coupling body for cracks;


2, check whether the coupling connection is tight and secure;


3. Check whether the key connection of the coupling is loose and the key is rolled;


4. Check whether there is radial circular runout and end runout when the coupling rotates;


5. Check whether the lubrication condition of the coupling is good;


6, check the coupling gear complete condition, wear condition and internal and external gear meshing condition.


Four, coupling maintenance


1, partial disassembly and inspection of the equipment, cleaning the specified parts, dredging pipes and valves;


2. Replace or clean the packing, observe whether the sealing part leaks, adjust the gap between the parts of the equipment, and tighten the parts of the equipment;


3, the motor and pump bolts for refueling and rust prevention treatment;


4, check the pressure gauge, control cabinet is normal, if damaged, repair or replace;


5. Check the operation of the control cabinet and whether the internal components are normal.
