Do you know how to install a snake spring coupling

Serpentine spring coupling is a widely used and favored coupling by customers. Its main structure is composed of two half couplings, two half enclosures, two sealing rings and serpentine spring pieces. Generally, the snake spring is embedded in the tooth groove of the two half couplings to transmit torque. The coupling is embedded in the tooth groove of the two half couplings with a snake spring piece to realize the link between the driving shaft and the driven shaft.


Installation and use of snake spring coupling:

1, install carefully alignment, control reasonable deviation JSZ type snake spring coupling with brake wheel, although large installation deviation is allowed, but the installation should also be in the specified value.

(1) The gap between the two-valve couplings and the angular deviation should be corrected. During installation, the gap between the two-valve snaking spring couplings should be measured every 90°, and the difference between the larger value and the smaller value should not be higher than 0.38mm.

(2) Radial deviation alignment. Put a ruler on the two-lobe coupling, measure every 90°, check with the racetrack, the radial deviation is not higher than 0.38mm.

2, choose the appropriate grease injection point temperature ≥150℃, can resist centrifugal force, has separation stability, no impurities, no corrosion of carbon steel and rubber lithium grease is better.

3. It is important to fill with sufficient grease for grease exchange for snake spring coupling. It is recommended to check once a year. Use a dry grease gun to inject grease until excess grease spills out of the hole.
