Analysis of force on wheel and operation of snake spring coupling

During the analysis, it is found that the main stress in the upper set of the half coupling is generated by centrifugal force, extrusion force and shear force at the root of the tooth, so the following analysis mainly analyzes these three forces. The model is simplified into a combination of spur gear and snake spring. When the force analysis is carried out, under the action of torque, the tooth side of the half coupling will be subjected to extrusion stress, and the root of the tooth will be subjected to shear force.
