Tire coupling manufacturers

Introduction:

Considerations for choosing a tire coupling:

1. The magnitude and nature of the torque to be transmitted and the requirements for the shock absorbing function.

For example, for high-power heavy-duty transmission, gear couplings can be selected. For severe impact loads or transmissions that require the elimination of torsional vibration of the shaft system, tire couplings can be selected.

2. Due to reasons such as manufacturing, installation, load deformation and temperature changes, it is difficult to maintain strict alignment of the two axes after installation and adjustment.

When the two axes have a large additional relative displacement during the working process, a flexible coupling should be selected.

3. The working speed of the tire coupling and the centrifugal force caused by it.

For high-speed transmission shafts, couplings with high balance precision should be selected, such as diaphragm couplings, rather than slider couplings with eccentricity.

Tire couplings are made of high-density cast steel and high-elastic rubber material grade requirements. The material is generally divided into No. 35 cast steel and No. 45 cast steel. The main difference lies in the difference in density and hardness, commonly known as the difference in steel grade.
