Features of JSS type serpentine spring coupling

JSS type serpentine spring coupling is a connecting component that needs to use serpentine spring sheets to be embedded in the tooth slots of the two halves of the coupling to realize the connection between the main drive shaft and the driven shaft. It has large bearing torque, good flexibility, high transmission efficiency and long service life; it can allow large radial displacement, axial displacement and angular deviation, and is easy to disassemble and assemble, and is widely used in mining machinery.  1. Good shock absorption and long service life: The serpentine spring coupling uses the serpentine spring sheet to be embedded in the tooth slot of the two halves of the coupling in the axial direction to realize the connection between the prime mover and the working machine. The circumferential force facing the spring plate drives the driven end to transmit the torque. Because the spring sheet has a specified degree of flexibility, the spring sheet undergoes a specified elastic deformation when the torque is transmitted, thereby avoiding the resonance phenomenon between the working machine and the prime mover to a large extent. Because the spring plate is made of high-quality spring steel through strict heat treatment and special processing, it has good mechanical properties, thereby greatly improving the service life of the coupling. 

2. High transmission efficiency and reliable operation: Through the test, the transmission efficiency of the serpentine spring coupling can reach 99.47%, and its short-term overload capacity is 200% of the rated torque, and the operation is safe and reliable. 

3. Low noise, easy maintenance and installation: the product features of the serpentine spring coupling There is an aluminum alloy cover on the outside to prevent the spring from being thrown out when the spring is running, and the shell is filled with butter, which is not only lubricated well, but also has good performance when the spring pieces are engaged. Noise is absorbed by butter damping and eliminated. Since the spring sheet and the tooth arc surface are in point contact, the coupling has greater flexibility, so it can be installed to work under the condition of specified radial, angular and axial deviations at the same time.
