Working principle of diaphragm coupling

The diaphragm coupling is connected with the coupling through the diaphragm, and the diaphragm is embedded in the hole between the half coupling and the jacket to transfer the torque and bear the radial force, which can compensate the angular displacement between the output shaft of the reducer and the shaft of the drum, and its mechanism is similar to the elastic pin tooth coupling. When in use, the semi-coupling is set on the output shaft of deceleration reduction, the coat is connected with the wire rope drum with high strength bolts, and the torque and radial load are transmitted between the semi-coupling and the coat through the spherical roller. Diaphragm coupling has the performance of compensating the relative displacement of two axles. It is compact in structure, light in weight, high in reliability and easy to install. It is used for connecting the mechanism on the crane trolley.

The castings, forgings, mechanical parts and assembly of couplings shall comply with the relevant provisions of JB/T5000.1-15-1998. The mechanical properties of butterfly spring material are not less than 60SI2Mn, and the hardness of heat treatment is 42-52HRC, and it should conform to the relevant provisions of B and C series load and grade 2 accuracy in GB/T1972-2005. The plane of the friction plate should be smooth, no bubbles, no cracks, no obvious impurities and processing damage defects. The material of the friction plate should have the following mechanical and physical properties: the coefficient of static friction is 0.4-0.5; Bending strength not less than 49N/mm; Brinell hardness 20-50HBW; Wear rate is not greater than 0.25*10; For high speed, in the chain and sprocket teeth coated with disulfide grease; The shaft hole and keyway type and size of the coupling shall be in accordance with GB/T3852-1997; Double row roller chain of coupling adopts GB/T1243-1997; The allowable radial, axial and angular compensation of the coupling is shown in the table.
